Course overview

This course is divided into three groups:

1. Introduction to the Internet of Things: It introduces IoT and how it enables digital transformation as well as emerging technologies such as data analytics, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. It also highlights the importance of intent-based networking using a software approach and machine learning to be able to connect and secure tens of billions of new devices with ease.

2. IoT Fundamentals (Connecting Things): This hands-on course demonstrates how to securely interconnect sensors, shareholders, microcontrollers, single-board computers, and cloud services over IP networks to create a IoT system of end to end.

3. IoT Fundamentals (Big Data and Analytics): This hands-on course demonstrates how to use Python data libraries to create a pipeline to acquire, transform, and visualize data collected from IoT sensors and machines. 7
